M&A's and WTF's

Apple Google Merger

What, huh, or some permutation thereof is the kind of reaction that the dev team at evolution consulting would expect to simply the title of this article. Quite honestly, that was the reaction of our development team when we first ran search metrics to determine the likelihood of an apple-google merger. However based upon additional research (which admittedly did require quite a lot of time) we have discovered that yes, its entirely possible.

While many be thinking in terms of hand-sets, operating systems, and so forth as we initially did, the reality of the situation is that there is a commonality between the two companies that might not be so obvious: Banking. Yes, we said it: ApplePay / AndroidPay / Google Wallet is the great common denominator between both mega-tech corporations. Both have ventured successfully (by standard), into the world of transactionary business and merchant services. With companies such as PayPal [PAPL] (amongst others) looking more and more like branch-less "banks" each day, the fact of the matter is the merchant services processing component is something that could facilitate the merger or partnership of said companies.

Evolution 4.0 information indicates that an apple-google merger could pave the way for a banking "evolution" (no pun intended) rather than a banking "revolution". Or rather we should say, the standardization of digital payment solutions and the standardization of procedure / practice associated with technologies such as NFC (Near Field Communication). From there, one need not be an economics major to see either one or both companies making a foray into the financial services / banking industry. In the April 2008 edition of Wirehaus, we explain in detail some of the information that Evolution 4.0 discovered in terms of the future of tech giant Apple, as well as Google, and what to expect in the way of banking / finance offerings from one or both. We also discuss how proven tech powerhouse Microsoft could theoretically figure into something that by all accounts might seem "unthinkable". For those who are fans of Apple and Apple Products, we will also be discussing what to expect in the way of future product offerings from the pirates of silicon valley. Spoiler alert: While there are only so many times an iphone / ipad / ipod can be released, there is evidently a lot more growth potential for AAPL than even we could have imagined. We share some of the findings from Evolution 4.0's research on that subject as well.

One of the other companies that came up as tremendously valuable in the way of "potential M&A" is online payment processing and pseudo-bank PayPal. Admittedly, that is our weapon of choice here at Evolution Consulting for a myriad of reasons (one of which is the robust and simplistic nature of their product service offerings). According to our information PayPal could be the "missing link" in terms of facilitating a banking Evolution the likes of which would change the way people think of the banking industry / financial services industry in general. We should also point out that while we are tremendous fans of Google and their products, there was (but is no) PayPal equivalent for those seeking to use google as a merchant services processing system. Odd, considering the often broad range of Google's product service offerings.

That said, for those who are looking for some shorter term trades and equity specific information, we do encourage you to subscribe to Wirehaus for April's analysis of the future of digital / online banking as we know it. Another interesting discovery that we made (and that we are still working on) is how some of the geopolitical-economic information that Evolution 4.0 discovered relating to the consolidation of world currencies either entirely or partially could factor into such an "ultra-mega" merger in the tech sector. Trust us when we say this is the kind of research that we truly enjoy doing.

Once again, we do not often do "teaser pieces" such as this for Wirehaus, though again, the information that we have discovered for this article alone is "worth the price of admission" as they say. For those that have been reading our commentary section, we invite you to check out our "2016 proven forecasts" section whereupon we illustrate in "easy to read" format, the accuracy of the Evolution 4.0 system.
